A New Way to Capture Loan Intent | Consumer-Initiated Prequalification

How Consumer-Initiated Prequalification Works

With consumer-initiated prequalification, consumers can request prequalification themselves from the offers page. Movemint evaluates the request in real time, using your institution’s policies and pricing, and returns a result the consumer can act on immediately.

For institutions, it creates another way to capture loan intent using the same Movemint infrastructure already supporting personalized offers.

Reaching Consumers Who Are Already Interested

Campaign-driven offers are still essential; they’re an important way to put relevant opportunities in front of consumers who may not be actively looking for them. But they can't capture everything. Some of the highest-intent moments happen off the institution's timeline entirely. Without a self-serve path, that intent either goes to a competitor or disappears.

Consumer-initiated prequalification gives institutions three things a campaign alone can't:

  1. See intent as it happens. When someone requests prequalification, they’re telling you directly what they’re interested in and when they’re interested in it.
  2. Turn intent into a qualified opportunity. Each request is evaluated in real time against your institution’s policies and pricing, with no manual review required.
  3. No added workload. It works through the same Movemint infrastructure institutions already use for personalized offers—no new staff process, no new channel to manage.
