Movemint expands leadership and business development teams
Movemint, an embedded digital marketing platform for community financial institutions, announced the appointments of Dermot Loughran as Director of Business Development and Amaha Selassie as Vice President of Business Development in January 2026. We also welcomed Avery Flynn as Business Development Executive, rounding out a strong team focused on advancing Movemint’s go-to-market strategy.

Loughran brings extensive experience in sales and account leadership. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Strategic Enterprise Accounts at Ministry Brands, where he guided his team into new sales processes and account retention strategies through a new consultative sales model. His career also includes leadership roles at Backbase, Fiserv, Harland Financial, The New York Credit Union Association and ESL Federal Credit Union giving him extensive familiarity with digital banking, fintech partnerships and credit union ecosystems.
Selassie, a seasoned payments and partnerships executive, joins Movemint from Deluxe, where he expanded the company’s embedded payments ecosystem as Strategic Partnership Development Manager. Previously, as Chief Revenue Officer at eMailACheck, he led the company to a 243% growth in revenue within a single year. His experience spans executive roles at EpicPay, Elavon, Moneris, Up Solutions and Mercury Payment Systems.
Flynn was most recently a Senior Account Executive at Harness, an embedded software technology provider, where she led enterprise sales engagements and strategic expansion efforts in the nonprofit sector and was recognized as Account Executive of the Year. She brings experience working with technology-forward nonprofits who work closely with credit unions and growth-focused teams.
